Kerryn McCowan

Kerryn’s role in finance is to put her detail-focussed talents to work for the Yield Financial Planning team in Melbourne. She looks at the accounts with a microscope, making sure all bills are paid and the accounts reconcile. Kerryn takes pride in looking at the bigger picture too, ensuring that the Income Statement reflects every detail accurately, preparing reporting in a timely manner for the Financial Advisor Director to assess the business on a regular basis. 

Keeping up-to-date with changes in the tax laws, HR and payroll laws, as well as Government initiatives and changes, like the Covid stimulus package, is another key aspect of her role and adds value to Yield, its Financial Advisors and team.

She chooses to work with the Yield Financial Advisor team because she feels she is valued and an essential team member, which provides for a great sense of achievement in her work life.
